What are storage reels?

This type of reel is used when a hose, cable, rope, ribbon, wire rope, or anything else that is rollable needs to be stored.

With the storage reel, the cable or hose must first be unwound before making the connection to the power point. The characteristic feature of the reel is that there is no connection cable or hose attached to it. As a drive, a crank or a crank with transmission is usually used. If the cable, hose, or rope becomes too heavy, manual winding and unwinding may no longer be feasible. Then we switch to a drive system, either electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic. This type of reel is built in all sizes.

This method of winding is often used in work situations where mobility plays a significant role: construction sites, shipyards, mobile workshops, etc.
